The Mitsubishi Outlander

The Outlander is a three-row SUV. It gets power from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine that puts out 181 horsepower and works with a CVT. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 2,000 pounds. The Outlander comes in a variety of different trim levels, including the high-end SEL Black Edition with satellite radio, a panoramic sunroof, and a heated steering wheel.

The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

The Outlander Sport is shorter than the Outlander, with two rows of seats and room for five. The base engine for this SUV is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine with 148 horsepower, but the GT has a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 168 horsepower. All-wheel drive comes standard with all five trim levels. Unlike the Outlander, the Outlander Sport offers the GT trim with leather upholstery and roof rails.

The Safety Features

Both the Outlander and Outlander Sport come standard with a comprehensive list of standard safety systems, including forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and lane-departure warning. These SUVs also offer a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.

The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander and Outlander Sport both come well equipped with features in the cabin and sporty exterior designs. The most significant difference is the extra row of seats you get in the larger Outlander.
